Welcome, Phil. My country music mentor, Darrell, now pushing 79 years old, lives on what used to be his parents' old farm just outside Jamestown. I've spent many a hot summer day kicking around there and Xenia, Beaver Creek and Bellebrook, and picking with some great country guitar players, many of whom I hope now RIP. I've even been to the Wright-Patterson Air Museum a time or two.

I'm also a recovering banjo player.
I haven't played banjo in 7 months.
One day at a time, one day at a time.

Welcome, though you've already violated the first rule of the SoundHole (never live in a district represented by a Republican).

All the severely closeted Michelle Bachmann fans are going to have a hard time with that.

Welcome, Phil. Don't feel bad about owning a wooden guitar. It's not your fault she didn't have something better for you.
