Eek - suddenly I can't access my Gmail though Internet Explorer. When I press the Gmail button, this pops up: We've detected a problem with your cookie settings.
Enable cookies Make sure your cookies are enabled. To enable cookies, follow these browser-specific instructions.
Clear cache and cookies If you have cookies enabled but are still having trouble, clear your browser's cache and cookies.
Adjust your privacy settings If clearing your cache and cookies doesn't resolve the problem, try adjusting your browser's privacy settings. If your settings are on high, manually add www.google.com to your list of allowed sites.I've done all those things including temporarily moving my privacy and security settings to zero. Still can't get Gmail. Finally I downloaded Firefox and that gets me right into Gmail. (I know, I should have switched before this happened anyway.) I am on a new computer, which I've been using for a couple of weeks with no problems along these lines. Just all of a sudden Gmail stopped working. Anybody else have this problem with Internet Explorer?

I think I figured out the problem. I didn't drink a glass of water upside down, turn around three times and spit into the wind.

If you want tech support you have to own up to what you did and didn't do up front. I always figured that if I didn't understand the reported problem it was because they hadn't told me everything yet, and that was usually the case. It's IE, if 4 reboots doesn't fix it, then of course you have to drink a glass of water upside down, turn around three times and spit into the wind. Everyone knows that.

After jumping over that fire naked you know all. Except for some it screws their politics up. ;D Before the roasting chestnuts Plucked was a right wing GWB supporter.

Load Google Chrome if you can. It loves gmail, calendar, and google+.
I use it for communication stuff. visiting restricted ftp sites and doin banking I use IE. But for simple communication Chrome works quick and easy.
PS - I wouldn't put it past Bill Gates to sneak into IE some intolerance of Google products. It's the way he's always operated.
