I went to town this evening and had to get back home fast as I was sure I'd run over some. They are just crazy, maybe it's the warm weather! A big turnout for sure.

You only get one point for Republicans unless they are RINOs then you get 3 points.

I'm stifling all the humorous responses that occur to me.

That's why I avoided town this evening, FC. Peyton is home, ordered Lotus, and I never saw town. September news report: The Lotus Chinese Restaurant opened today in the same building as the popular but troubled Peony Family Restaurant that closed after the previous owners, Chan Duong and Polly Long, began serving their federal prison sentences on immigration violations. Luc Long, the brother of Polly Long, is the manager of the new restaurant. Scott Tharp and his crew put up the new sign at the building this morning. Long said he is in the process of applying for a liquor license. The business currently accepts cash, local checks or debit cards, but Long continues to work on setting up credit card capabilities. He said the menu will stay the same, although the prices have changed. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Most of the employees who were working for the Peony when it closed will work for the Lotus. While Long has helped his family work at the restaurant in the past, he said this is his first time to manage a business. Benton County land records indicate that Chan Duong is still the owner of the building.

Don't worry. Tomorrow they will all be gone and on top of that, none of them will remember the promises they made while they were there.

Give it 48 hours and Iowa will be quiet again as the flocks of Republicans and reporters head for New Hampshire.

Yeah, what this country needs more of is some good old-fashioned apathy. It's awful when the wrong people care.
