"I'm hoping to eventually move to the sunnier part of the state..." Yakima? It ain't what you would call pleasant to look at out that way. Yakima is NOT one of the places being looked at

Other than the obviously more comfortable seat what advantage does this trike have over a standard street bike? I can't see anyone wheeling this thing through a crowded city street. It must handle like a Mack truck compared to a two wheeler. I haven't taken this onto the city streets yet, it feels like I take up almost all the lane on the country roads here and I'm pretty leery of cars right now. It won't be a bike messengers choice of ride. But for an old fart to use as alternate transport that can carry a couple of bags of groceries home and not have to worry about falling over at the stop sign...it's got to be better. As to handling, it's not as agile as a two-wheeler, turn radius is something like 10 ft, but I bet I get less road rash I've been taking a 5 mile loop, very hilly and am extremely happy with it so far.

"I'm hoping to eventually move to the sunnier part of the state..." Sequim has 300 days of sun. Funny you should mention that, it's where I bought it, Mike's Bikes.

Here's my attempt at green and exercise all in one. Also hopefully my commuter vehicle into Anacortes. if it doesn't kill me it will make me slender (or smoke less) You might wanna swap out the flag for something along these lines, Dennis:

As a side note on the passenger thing.
Back when you rode bikes where did the passenger sit? I can remember: -sitting on handle bars with feet on the end of the front axle. -side saddle on the cross bar. -on luggage rack. -side saddle on luggage rack. -sitting on seat while rider stood on pedals.
Any others that I can't remember?
