G'mornin' - up early and can't sleep. Hope to get out on the trike as soon as the sun starts coming up. Dad comes home from the hospital today, but not expected to be too active for a while. I'm still his chauffeur for a couple more trips for radiation. Hope you all have a peaceful day

Morning. I want a trike. I looked on craigslist a couple days ago, but all I could find were trikes for the very old and very young. I didn't see anything for the not-all-that-old-but-very-lazy.

How about one for the almost-very-old-and-trying-to-avoid-getting-any-lazier?

A big storm is rolling through with lots of wind. Keep your heads down and have a good day.

Good morning. Mid-90s here today and my right hand still hurts so I'm taking the day off from golf or anything more stressful than picking a guitar which doesn't seem to hurt. Been surfing classic car sites, not that I can afford one, just drooling.

Rain was nice overnight, should be tolerable temps after work to do some grass cutting.
I gave Marty some stout ales and such last night, awaiting his review(s).

Upped my bike ride to 7.5 miles lady night. 40 minutes. Eventually I want to get closer to 60 mins a night. Taking the bike to the shop today to get it fixed up. Need new tires and just about everything needs to be adjusted.

Stopped by Green Shag Central after picking up my new glasses last night to pick up said stouts. I usually wear aviator type lenses, big un's, but me darlng wife complains that "You always get the same kind" so this time I let her pick them out. About half the size of my old glasses and a little squarish, we'll see if I can live with them.

Mornin'..... Up and going here, just not too strong yet. Coffee and breakfast is in order. Two days left, all packed, guitar and minimal accessories ready, one lesson to teach tomorrow evening (so I can collect lesson money for the trip ;D ) then off I go early Thursday. Drive 3 hours to Wichita, then fly to Atlanta where I'll enjoy a 2 hour layover before I fly on to Asheville, arriving around 6:00 p.m. Sidetracked for an hour, coffee and breakfast are history. A little yard work awaits before it gets hot.

Off to the animal shelter with Peyton. It'll be around 100 today, so I think I'll fill the plastic kiddie pools for them instead of a walk, which they don't need in this heat.

Good morning, folks. Decided yesterday that it's silly for Debbie and I both to hang around Denver keeping the house at the ready for showings while the mountain place sits mainly empty this summer. She's heading down there with the pets soon and I will be going back and forth. Pain in the ass for me but she's my gal

Hot as crap down here at Fort Benning. We have two more full days of training and then fly to Kuwait on Friday. That's going to be a long flight for sure... Today we drew all of our field gear. In true Army fashion, we had to take everything to get the pieces we wanted. To get the stuff I needed as a rear-echelon office pogue, I drew a bunch of stuff I won't use. I'll probably be the best equipped REMF in Kabul. All else is well. More to follow, but I reckon after Friday I'll be off the net for a few days as we transit half way across the globe. All this, and pay too.
