This just in from Reuters...
A Nepal man who was bitten by a cobra snake subsequently bit the snake to death, a local newspaper reorted in Thursday (Aug 23)
After being bitten by the snake, while he was working his rice paddy on Tuesday, 55 year old Mahamed Salmo Hiya chased the snake, caught it and bit it until it died, the Annapurna Post reported, according to Reuters.
"I couold have killed it with a sticik but bit it with my teeth instead because I was so angry," Miya was quoted as saying.
Miya, who lives in a village some 125 miles (200 kilometers) southeast of the Nepal captial of Katmandu, was receiving treatment at a village health post at the time of the news report and was not in danger of dying from his sankebite. He will not be charged with killing the snake, a local police official said, because cobras (called 'goman' in Napal) are not listed as endangered in the country.
In short, a snake has died of a manbite.
Now Uncle Bill will be more than happy to delineate the journalistic differences between 'dog bites man' and "MAN BITES DOG" but sheeeeesh!
That dude must have been one PO'd mfer.

I bet that snake learned never to bite a man again! Hope its friends learned something from the event!

I have dealt with a handful of snake-human interactions. So far, they have universally involved some sort of foolish behavior on the part of the human.

What Shannon said. I've been bit twice and both times involved foolish behavior on my part. I'm glad to say that the last time was when I was 16 so I have learned to be less foolish with poisonous snakes.
That sounds like one of the funnies out of Expendables 2.
Barney Ross:(Stallone) I heard you got bit by a King Cobra. Booker:(Norris) Yeah, and after five long painful days, the cobra died.
