stereo amp and a mono speaker setup? The other speaker is on the other cart but it wouldn't fit in the kitchen. But you are right sure looks like a stereo amp. But from the whole ad it looks like the early 50s and stereo wasn't a normal consumer product till the mid 60's

anyone rememmber the speakers with the bell shaped cones on the bottom and the speaker that pointed straight down?It was supposed to spread the sound out in 360 degrees....

Anybody notice the corporate address at the bottom of the "ad"? I just noticed the corporate address -- Assining, NY must be a backwards small town. Somehow an address on Ersatzen Way doesn't ring true. I looked it up, no such town or road. There is a Ossining NY but no street by that name.
