Thank you for your comments, Don. I can't pin down why, but I'm feeling a tad insecure about this one, so I'm pulling it. I sincerely apologize for leaving your comments dangle here. Maybe I should quit posting lyrics altogether and just stick to discussion of the craft.

I like it, Scott. I get a feel for both guys.
I particularly like these lines:
"Pulling on a bottle that he borrowed from a store in town The rain beat steady a war march upon the window "
I'm not so fond of this one:
"You can measure your life by the miles 'tween home and happy"
Don't get anything from that.
If I were picking a title, I'd pick "I'd Rather Drink Alone."
