"Your left. Your left. Your left, right, left."
Got back from an open mic. Cool place. Cooled down at home with some left-over pasta dish and the final half hour of The Verdict. That's one of my favorite movies.
All is well.
Good night.

Good morning. Keep the numbers coming down, Paul.
We'll have to go back to the mainland and pick up Mary's refurbished old sewing machine today. I think it's about 30 years old and rarely gets used but she wanted it fixed because it's smaller and easier to take to quilt shows than her newer machine. Apparently no problem getting it working again, no electronics to fail so just cleaning, oiling and mechanical adjustments. Got to love old stuff, it's repairable. Wish old people were like that.

Most of it melted already, except up on the hills around Kabul, FP. If you look past the sniper screening, and look more up and over, rather than directly at, Camp Eggers in the foreground, it's kind of pretty.

Beeg blizzard headed our way, with 8 to 12 inches of snow, and blowing wind. I don't think anyone is going anywhere tomorrow.

Good Morning Good People
Cool and foggy. Lots of report writing today and replacing the battery in the VW. In the latest family automotive shuffle I ended up with a cute yellow Beetle as my daily driver.
Have a wondrous Wednesday one and all.

Holiday party today. Did a final run through of the music yesterday. This morning we just unloaded a keg of Fat Tire and wheeled it up the nitrate vaults which are kept around 35-40 degrees. I've got to meet with a couple of consultants this morning--they don't get party day I guess. Meanwhile I think I'll see if I can find some Bailey's to sweeten my coffee.

A keg of Fat Tire brings visions of holiday cheer to my brain. I may set out for Virginia in a few minutes myself.
