I'm cold.
We lost power for about 45 minutes last night, probably some redneck seeing if he could drive on snow because it had just started snowing. Once the power came back it stayed up so all's well. Well except that it's 16 degrees and windy out so the heat pump can't find anything to pump, as usual. I got up at 4 and fired up the aux gas heater in the kitchen and an electric here in the computer room. The house is back up to 65 now. It looks like we got a couple of inches of snow but that's enough to shut this area down for a day or two if it doesn't melt, which it won't at this temperature. My electric and gas companies will be happy anyway. No golf today.

I was going to shovel the driveway when I got home last night, but most of the snow either melted or blew away. And there's no new snow this morning. This is almost as good as spring.

No. It's maybe a degree or so above freezing, and the falling snow is not sticking, and will not have to be shoveled.
And the forecast says fractionally warmer for the next few days.

I went to an open mic at a cool place last night. Hadn't been in a month and a half. I could park in front of the place. Sparse turnout. Some really great people, though. I had a couple guys jam with me on a couple of tunes. Small intimate turnout. Great fun. Great people.
Damn cold.

Good morning. The east is cold and wet, the west is warm and dry. We need to do some trading. Our weather is very pleasant but we need rain and, up higher, snow. Have a good day.

What is the name of the place, Marshall?
It is 4 degrees here. We were spared the 23 inches of snow that fell just a few miles to the east of here yesterday but we are going back into the deep freeze with below 0 temps for a week or so. Did I mention I hate winter? Enjoy it and stay warm.

It just got above 0. There's two feet of snow between me and LJ. The lake drops immense amounts of snow on Lake and Porter counties.

Good Morning Good People
Not quite so cold - 8 degrees on the plus side. Maybe some snow. Working from home today. I have the house to myself but don't have a car available (minor inconvenience). Might slip in some music along with report writing and stuff. Working on minor detail of a project that requires the cooperation of my ex-employer -- so far so good.
Have an artificially warm Wednesday one and all.

Can't complain too much. It will get to mid 40s here.
Came home last night from work to find Daisy, our long haired mini Doxie, could not use her front leg and was shaking. We have her kenneled now on doses of tramadol. She is a bit better this am but still not able to get around much and has no appetite. We will reassess this eve and maybe take her in for X-rays, sigh.

G'mornin' - still not raining here, amazing winter so far, I feel bad for you mid-westerners/nor'easterners that are suffering through winter.
Glad to see ya back Roy!
