Tons of work to do, but waiting for parts. Got errands to run but can't leave because I need to be here when parts shipments arrive. Some days Catch 22 is a life style.

Spent the weekend worrying over my daughter in law and babysitting the grandkids. Her PCP and local infectious disease doc sent her to Mass General for an FUO (fever of unknown orign) She's been there 3 days and that's still the working diagnosis. 3 days at MGH and no diagnosis, and the prognosis gets more and more worrying. only 2 hours sleep the last two nights. She didn't just take a trip to some tropical place did she? Sounds like she is where she needs to be. Good luck Doc.

Had a positive CMV test, so they're calling it mono. I've never seen one like this. Although, 'uncommon presentations of common diseases are more frequent than common presentations of uncommon diseases.' Could end up being one of the more costly cases of mono ever.
