G'mornin' - We've been having some beautiful weather, it's going to be a little cooler today, and the sun wont break through the clouds until later in the morning, but still NOT WET! oddly dry here.

Morning all
I'll drop DaWife off at work and then I'm off to the grocery store. I've been given a list of foodstuffs that are deemed essential for celebrating the 4th of July. Then off to the liquor store for condiments. As soon as that is done granddaughter Ayana needs a ride somewhere. Maybe instead of me getting a new car I'll save myself a lot of time and just get her a car. At some point between now and 5:00 when I pick up DaWife from work I need to get some of my work done. Life in Estrogenia. Todd, Howard, Paul, do I get a Amen!

Good Morning Good People
Early morning rain, now clearing. A somewhat shorter work day. The rest of the family is headed northward this evening, I will have a quiet evening and follow tomorrow morning.
Marty -- you get an Amen from me, who lives with Three Generations of Estrogenia.
Have a terrific Thursday one and all.

Morning, all. Working from home this morning, then off to Chicago in the afternoon and check out our son's new apartment.
An old friend is appearing in Sting's new musical that's having its pre-Broadway tryouts in Chicago. We've got tickets for Saturday night, then we'll sit up and talk until the wee hours.

Good morning. We're supposed to see the beginnings of the monsoon today and over the next few days. May it bring rain.
Many people are taking today off, so it should be quiet in our office. I may knock off early.
Have a good day.

Off to dermatologist to survey some of my sun damaged face. No big deal, but annoying.

Um...., NO, thank you! Anyway, off again today, going in to start my work weekend tomorrow. Will just be sleep/work/rinse/repeat for the next several days after that. So, other than a couple errands, I ain't doing a dang thing today!

Good ad. (You knew something had to be up)
Along the lines of "The Older I get," last night I decided to do my weekly 15 mile bike ride. Normally I'd do it Sat morning. But we've got plans Friday, Sat, & Sunday. So I stewed about it. The weather got wet and drizzly and chilly. I thought, "What the heck I'm going for it." So I drove out to the forest preserve and pounded through 14.6 miles in 52:05 for a 16.8 mph average (says endomondo). It was lovely. 55 degree temp. Steady drizzle rain. I was soaked to the bone. But never overheated like sunny days. Nobody else in the forest preserve except a few deer and rabbits I surprised on the path. I did Pass 3 runners going the opposite direction. We grinned and smiled at each other. It was like a brotherhood of crazy people enjoying the chilly solitude of the woods. It was B E A U T I F U L !
Came home and did 40 sit-ups, 20 push-ups, and 20 curls. Changed clothes and went to the bar to meet up with my racquetball buddies, who stayed in-doors and chased a blue ball around a 20 ft square room.
Invigorating.

(Oops. Originally posted this on the wrong daily.)
Got .08 inch of rain after dinner last night. We could smell it, then hear it blowing in. When it hit, somebody started honking his car horn. Maybe unrelated horn honking, but we certainly felt like celebrating. That brings us up to 1.32" year to date. Hoping for a lot more.
