Way to go, people! Scared him off already. I blame Millring's picture. I use Millring's picture to scare things away. Works like a charm.

HEY!
use it sparingly. Don't be getting people numbed to it, or it will stop working for me.

Welcome. I am vacationing in San Rafael, Sebastapol, and off to the Humboldt Redwoods. I will hug a tree for you.

You all won't scare me away! I'm happy to have found this forum! I've missed having a guitar forum to be a part of for a while now.
For those that inquired, yes, I have a redwood topped Lowden O25c that as of today, I've owned for 12 years and 2 days. To me, it is the finest sounding fingerstyle guitar that has ever been made. It sounds better than I play.
Someone else asked about which part of the Bay Area. The San Jose area. Born and raised in the Almaden Valley, then moved to the Saratoga foothills. I live about an hour away these days, but commute to work. But only for another 3 years, max. Maybe a bit less.
Thanks for making me feel welcome!

If you haven't already, you should check out Doug Young's guitar night at the Woodshed in Willow Glen on the first sunday of the month. www.woodshed.org/

Things turn over here a lot quicker than on the old AG forum. I try not to read the political stuff, that makes it so there's little to read sometimes, so I end up taking a peak and sticking my foot in my mouth. It's the way around here.

Yes do try and avoid the political threads, more often than not we end up with folks going at it like 3 cats in a sack.
