Just watched Noah last night on pay per view. Enjoyed it - Russell Crowe may be an ass, but I like his acting, and it was great to see Emma Watson bloom from only being Hermione Granger. It did differ somewhat from the book. Rotten tomato ratings were good, and if you like an actionish, epic adventure, end of the world apocalypse kind of thing, it's well worth it. GIve it a 6 out of 10. Lucy, we went to see in the theatre last week. I would not bother. Scarlett Johansson is a decent actress, but they struggled mightily to come up with a plot, and there was so much that was poorly explained, characters brought in to increase drama without any real need, that it stifled the whole movie. They committed one of the primary sins of SF writing - came up with a 'cool' idea, but then didn't provide enough story/human interest around it to make it work. GIve it a 3 out 10.

Dont know if you saw it or not, but yesterday I watched draft day. I thought it was a pretty good movie.

To be completely accurate Noah followed the book pretty closely, but it was a different book. It was based on a comic book. The comic book, however, took a few liberties with the original source material.
But I still haven't seen it.
