Good to hear you're home and recovering (if you can handle the puns it should be easy).

Outstenting news. So, ostentstibly, you are out of the woods? Do you have any ostentatious scars we can see? Was your procedure consistent with good outcomes? We look forward to your stentoirian posts about guitar fixin', Marty. Your admittedly short abstention from posting here resulted in an insistent and persistent outcry from the rest of us, because your posts are consistently good. I will now absent myself from this thread before the rest of you make me nonexistent. Since I've had two stents already I was prepared for them putting stents in through my groin. I was quite pleased to learn they can now do it via the wrist, which they did, but also prepped my groin area just in case they needed a second option. The hole in my wrist is the least of the things they did to me during my stay. My inside left elbow is one large purple bruise where they tried to get the IV in and failed, many times. Right inside elbow isn't bruised but is sore from many blood samples being taken. My back is really complaining due to that hospital bed and I still have that dull nitro headache from that patch. I'm sure both will pass with time.

Marty, guessing self-employed luthiers do not get paid sick days. Are you okay $-wise? Do you need help? I know that is a rather personal question, but we're among friends.

Marty, guessing self-employed luthiers do not get paid sick days. Are you okay $-wise? Do you need help? I know that is a rather personal question, but we're among friends. Business has been slow, but it is that time of year, and taking even a few days off hurts but I'll get over it. Doing Millring's guitar takes a lot of my work time when I'm actually working on that guitar, 3 to 4 times more time spent to stop work and set up photo shots. But I knew what I was getting into before I started this project as I've done this a few times now. The biggest setback for me lately has been lack of guitar sales, which is what I normally rely on to boost income during the slow summer months. That's a hint folks, look at my website for guitars ready for sale or contact me if you want me to tell you what I have coming up for sale............. We will now return you to our regular program.

Marty, you should send me some more photos of those for sale guitars to increase their appeal.
And I wonder if the doctors took pictures of the stent implantations, we could add a "Refurbishing Marty" section to the site.

I'll get my "photo booth" put back together so I can take more photos of them. This means we have to meet someplace to exchange flash drives. That is a good excuse for breakfast wif da boyz somewhere.

dang important news should be PINNED to the top of the page. Some of us travel for a living and don't catch up for a while. Marty, dammit, why didn't you pin this thread to the top?!
oh.
nevermind.
I'm glad I got the better news at the same time as the bad news. It saved me some worrying.

Where have I been? I missed this entirely!
Marty, I'm glad you got yourself to the hospital, and I will be praying for your full and rapid recovery.

Well me darling wife got me to the hospital and stayed with me until I made her go home and get some sleep. A lot of things just after surgery are pretty fuzzy but I know she was there.

Well between getting some work done and a trip to the Podium I kind of wore myself out. By 3:00 it was nap time.

I'm sure nobody wants you to waste valuable nap time on the raffle guitar. Really. That thing is less important than your naps.
