I'll assume this the daily. I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be, and glad it's rainy today, not yesterday.

It's rainy up here, too. Is this the daily?

Good Morning Good People
Feeling like I have been run over by a truck this morning, or more appropriately, feeling like I have been gently trampled by a herd of Iowa cows. Smiling about a great IdiotJam weekend, with a twinge of sadness -- IdiotJam is over, there is a chill in the air, I guess this means summer is over.
Have a peaceful Monday one and all.

I'm still in Vinton, luxuriating with all my insect friends in the countless accoutrements that the Moderne has to offer, which at 5:30 this morning I learned includes free weekly dumpster removal, right outside my room! Unlike elsewhere, the dumpsters are not on rollers, it would seem -- the old one is just dragged away and a new one is pushed over.
I had a pleasant and quiet evening with a book, a little guitar playing, some NFL ups and downs and some terrific sausage that I had picked up at a meat locker in Osage on my way down. Breakfast will be at Newton's Cafe in Waterloo, in an hour or so.
Missing everyone, but savoring the memories, which are many.

Morning
Groan! What I thought were allergies and road effects seem to be turning into a cold. Despite a nagging cough I did sleep well.
I don't know if each IJ is better than the last or if it just seems so because of renewed joy at seeming ones friends.
I left MN with 4 guitars, returned with 6. I'll get the Harmony packed up and shipped to David in a day or so, need a guitar box.

Morning, all. Trying to remember what I was working on here last week. The weekend did a great job of making me forget all about work.
Somebody just announced donuts in the conference room.

Morning! I am happily buoyed by IJ residuals.
Grand Forks is on the right side of the clouds. Clear and sunny up here. Tough day of Sunday football, with both the Vikings and the Moose Walkers taking it on the chin. But, the Bears beat San Fran and that was fun.
One thing I've learned is that years build resiliency. When I was a kid, it would bother me for a couple days after the Vikings lost. Now I'm over it before the game is. At least, I think it is the years, maybe the Vikings have just done an excellent job of preparing Minnesotans for life's vicissitudes. I suppose we should be grateful.
After breakfast, I'm going to head up to the farm and check things out.
I really like fall.

Good morning to all! My accomplishment for the day was to sleep in as long as I could to try to make up for the deprivation of this past weekend. Feeling very grateful that we don't have the 2 year old grand-darling today! Phew! Just going to putter about the house, unpack and do some laundry. I'm having IJam withdrawal.

Up and awake. This is a research week, so I'm getting my head back into Lebanon. But first, I think I'll drive back to return my power amp tubes. This research stuff can't be rushed.

...I'm getting my head back into Lebanon. If I were you, Paul, I'd toss my hat in first to see if it's safe to get my head in.

Halo. Good afternoon.
Kate and Lars left a couple of hours ago to take the train into the Big City. They'll come back and stay with Kari and Erik tonight.
Just trying to get myself back emersed in real life. many loose balls to pick up the juggle on.
PS - I have to say I have some mild disappointment the Harmony Sovereign is heading so far away. It'd be nice to see it from time to time, even if I didn't win it. It truly is a mighty fine instrument. Marty does wonderful work.

Need more coffee. Much more coffee. Still to-the-bone exhausted.
Got home around 4:00 yesterday. Nice ride back. Warmed up some. Lots of sun.
Beyond awesome seeing everyone at IJ. Some new faces. Lots of old faces. The joint in Garrison was perfect. The after-party at the Cobblestone ended too soon. Dick and I were good for a few more hours at least. Apparently 2:30am is considered "late".
Special thanks to Paul for chauffeuring me around. We never did find a liquor store, but managed to secure adequate lubrication anyway. Letson brought some extremely fine whiskey of some sort, and it went down well with the gas station beers we found.
Can FC cook or what? Good grief! Surely ours is the best fed gathering of its kind anywhere, ever. Thank you!
Yes, Lonnie, mine is bigger than yours. But you can try it any time. You'd be amazed at how much it puts out.
That's e-cigs, folks.
Kind of jealous that Bill got to enjoy the tender accommodations of the Modern for one more night.
You know how everyone says they had a great time but their only regret is not having more one on one time with everyone? Yep.
