The photo of the wall art left standing when the adjacent building was torn down reminds me of one I took several years ago in Aurora, NE At one corner, across the street from the courthouse square, was a building that was old when I was a kid. Our doctor's office was in the buidling and I was very familiar with it. The last time I visited Aurora I noticed the building was gone and this mural was exposed. Later I visited the local museum. There was a photo of the building in it's heyday and an accompanying story about how two kids had accidentally set fire to it. I realized that the mural had to be over 100 years old. It was well preserved because it hadn't experienced any Nebraska winters or the blistering sun of the summers. I see that my photo isn't visible. Can someone tell me how to post a photo here? Thanks.
