Dodged some raindrops for 37km on a bike this morning, hope I can do the same tomorrow. Typhoon, but nothing katrina-like: www.jma.go.jp/en/typh/

Summer left us. It was 70 yesterday morning, 43 this morning. The Pats don't play until tonight so I have yard work to do if it gets warmer now that the sun's up.

Good Morning Good People
Cloudy chilly and damp. Spent an hour of forced relaxation yesterday when it took an hour and a half to get a tire fixed. Fortunately there is a fine bookstore across the street from the tire place so I spent an hour drinking coffee perusing music mags, boating mags, and various history books. The street is a five-lane thoroughfare, and it is a death-defying crossing, but a fine bookstore is worth it. (Schulers Books is like Borders, but it is locally-owned and independent)
Church and chores await. Maybe a hike. If it rains I have hundreds of acres and miles of trails all to myself.
Have a serene Sunday one and all.

Good morning. I'll be taking Diane to the airport in a while. She's going to Denver for several days to look after a brother who's having cancer surgery. It should be a fine day here. Enjoy yours.

40 right now. It was supposed to get into the 30's last night. Don't know if it did. We had a fire in the wood burner and slept under the feather quilt last night. I actually turned on the furnace a while ago to take the chill off the house. Ugh. Have a good day and beware the frost.

Another nice day in OR. Breakfast with family this am then paddling the river. Then football. It's good to be king.

Morning
Temps in the mid 50s today but no rain.
Finally got word from the hospital, I'm going back in on the 21st for two more stents. I'll just be there overnight, just long enough to make feigned passes at the nurses and be fussed over by my very pretty young Doctor. The timing is good as I'll be fit to go to a dinner concert on the 28th. Me Darling Wife's Birthday present to me, dinner and Acoustic Alchemy. Although I seem to remember they are HER favorite, not mine, but I don't mind at all. I'll buy her a circular saw for her birthday, she'll use it too.
Excited and looking forward to lunch with DaBoyz on Thursday, we're doing something special. I'll let Mr Radtke tell you about it.

Morning all. The fans are gone, the townhouse is dry. Repairs to start on the basement next week, but I can play guitar again in piece. Might try to lay a bass track down on the current project today.
It's cool and cloudy here. It's fall. Might still get more fine weather. I hope so.
