Our Rachel has decided that most pop music is too boring. I was treated to a half hour of Mongolian throat singing last night. It was pretty repetitive. Yes, different side to the coin. Some folks think that because it's original and ethnic, it's good. It's interesting, from one point of view. Creative and entertaining? I'd stick with the techno.

And the Jimi Hendrix Experienced album is the best 60's/70's record ever made. And the Wind Cried Mary is perfection. What a guitarist. What a singer.

LOL Mike. Maybe. Tonight we were back to hot new Scottish bands. Thank God she has moved on from Mongolia.

Jeff, Thanks for letting us know what is popular among the youngsters. My kids are out o the house and I am truly disconnected from pop culture.

David, it's fractured all over the place. Each of my three girls is into something completely different. Not like when I was in high school, and EVERYONE listened to Elton John. I don't think there's a single musician current that has the kind of fan base that the Beatles, or Elton, or Led Zeppelin had. I think in some ways, it's good. They are listening to massive variety. Just, they are each listening to only their particular variety.
