Fall back! Fall back!
Windy day! But they are talking 60's this afternoon. Might take the bike out and warm her up a bit.

Howdy folks. Ushering at church in a couple of hours, then watching football with some friends. Have good ones.

Good morning. Waiting for the temp to lift itself another 10 degrees, then out to the front of the house, brush and roller in hand, with a fervent prayer that the second coat of veridian green will at least approximate the color of the paint swatch. At the moment, our house looks like a beacon for homeless leprechauns.
My reward tonight... tickets to James Taylor at the Xcel Center.

I forgot about DST ending. We have 4 atomic clocks that think the time has changed, so they will need to be reset.
Had an interesting afternoon yesterday. Our neighbor, a drummer who hadn't played for 20 years, recently bought a cajon. Through the feed store that he runs he met a guitarist/singer/songwriter who is well known and has played with people who are even more well known. Neighbor was asked to add some percussion to a couple of songs. Well known guy is something of a recluse. Neighbor wanted to send him a recording. Mr. H as sound engineer and I as person who knows how my kluge of a recording system works helped him create something that shows what he can do.
Very windy here today. Had 40 mph during the night. This is winter on its way in.

Morning,
Whats with this moving the clocks back an hour? That means the football games will be coming on later.

Good morning. I have to reset my football clock as I'd thought Denver at New England would be an early game. Beer For Breakfast will have to wait for another day.

Enjoy the concert, Lonnie. I'm just about to have brunch with Yungerdottir and her husband, then we're gonna check out the house that they will close on tomorrow, about the time I start my way home through the stunning Nantahala Gorge and on to Chattanooga.
It's cold, sunny and windy here in Flat Rock, but warmth is on the way, we are told.

.....and on to Chattanooga. I have been to a great many aquariums around the world and the freshwater aquarium in Chattanooga is up with the best of 'em IMO, if you have the time or inclination to visit.

Loose garden soil + three rung step stool + clumsy guitar player = I think I'm in the running for a Darwin Award.

Its warmed up to a toasty 60 degrees, so I'm heading out. Marshall, you wanna meet somewhere in the middle? He, he, he. The middle of nowhere. I was just thinking about putting the cycle away for the winter. Haven't ridden much. Temp is only 50 here today. And I'm way too hung over from the wedding I was at last night to consider venturing anywhere. VERY COOL wedding reception last night. A couple we're good friends with popped for the Art Institute for the reception. Spent about an hour during Oar Durves strolling through the Impressionist collection. I just love that stuff. Alwasy makes me want to go buy some paints and start slapping paint on canvas.

Good afternoon. I was gone about five for an early hike. It was cool and raining intermittently but very refreshing. Enjoy what's left of the day.
