Another cold day on the far east coast, just above freezing.
It's the wife's birthday, 65. I got a cake mix but she'll have to make it because me and kitchens don't get along well.

Morning,
A little bit cold here. Wife had the upstairs heater on last night, and it didnt heat up the upstairs, looks like I might have a problem with that unit. Which is probably par for the course since I just paid $1000.00 to have the car repair, when my youngest daughter decided to take out a pole and tear up the passager side of the car after work last week.

Cold here. It is about 20 out right now and the furnace has been running for a while. Humidifier are on, case humidifiers are moist and snuggled with the guitars, and I am counting the days until spring. There are a lot of them right now. Enjoy the day.

G'mornin' - The wood stove is getting a work out over night, but it's fighting the chill quite well. About 25 out headed for a high of 40 or so today. Having to break the ice in the water buckets isn't so bad, but breaking the dung out of all the little donkey hoof mud print is a pain Haf a gud day!

Good morning. The pace at which we've been burning firewood is slowing a bit. Have a great day.

Morning all
Probably in the teens today, cold enough that I don't plan on going anywhere, if I don't have to.
Took in a 1936 Harmony arch top for restoration yesterday and a uke of about the same age.

Off to wail on some youngsters in a little while. Then fix the kitchen cabinet that broke. Then wait for the snow.
That's about it.
Oh, went and saw "The Judge" last night. Good movie.
Oh, and went to an unknown and apparently not very popular Chinese restaurant last night. Not a good move.

Back to work on a cigar box guitar today shaping the neck and fitting the paduak fretboard to the maple neck. Thinking of a 25" scale. Need to order tuners and fret wire and decide on a pickup--mag vs piezo. If I go with piezo it will be under saddle rather than disc.

Pat is doing the window of her antique store for Christmas. It is "A Christmas Story Theme". It's off to the shop where the production schedule will shift from guitars to a leg lamp.

Up late after having a busy evening at a wake and a mini-concert. I'm not exactly a party girl. Too many people in our age group are dying of cancer. ...
Tomorrow is Larry's birthday. Today I'll prepare - baking a large lasagna and putting together a chocolate cake for the family. We are having games night in honour of the old guy. It's always a LOT of fun playing Mexican Train and giggling a lot. (Thank you Kari and Erik for Mexican Train!!)

Morning, all. Chilly, here.
Prep and packing today for an autism trade show in Columbus next week. Have to look pressed and business-like, so that means a haircut today.

Mornin'..... Actually made it in. Joshua rolls back in later today to stay here while Barb and I make our next trip to KC. Seeing a member of the pre-transplant cardiologists that I haven't met yet. From what I have heard from a few recipients, he works closer with those that are getting nearer in time to be transplanted. Very curious to hear his take on where I am in this. On November 4, not only was it election day but it was the one year anniversary of finding out my heart was shot. Thought it would be done by now.

Hang in there, Don!
Well, the mighty Gophers gave Ohio State a respectable effort, but succumbed in the end. I'm just back from Trader Joe's and my favorite local meat market, where I scored some twice-smoked bacon and a couple of beautiful pork steaks, which I think too many people forget about in terms of deliciousness. I just roasted some asparagus, the pork is on the Foreman grill, and it smells like Bachelor Paradise here.
