How much is postage to Canada? Just a letter. Check to the Water Buffalo fund.

I wouldn't send a water buffalo through the mail. PETA will be all over you for that.

If the water buffalo is a baby, he might fit in one of the large Priority Mail boxes. Poke some holes in it and toss in enough of whatever they eat for a two day trip. Personally, I would just saddle my pony and herd it across the border. I would pick a remote spot to cross since border guards can be sticklers about rules and such.

In the Strings for Africa days, you could get a box at the post office and whatever it could hold it'd be the same going rate, no matter the cost. It'd be worth a try, but I'm pretty sure a water buffalo wouldn't fit into one of those.

I have seen a water buffalo moved. Large tiger comes down a mountain 30+ leaps. Pick up a water buffalo calf, run back up the mountain, only 20+ ft leaps up hill and carrying calf. 4 or 5 Marines shooting at it (800 yds +) trying to get it to drop the calf. That was a major loss for that village. Kids crying, men cussing.

Loonies, that's what I like about metal detecting in Canada, one finds lots of Loonies, sometimes even a Toonie.
