Rehearsing today. We're preparing for a Christmas show at the Iowa Theatre Artists Company in Amana this weekend. Shows Friday night, Saturday afternoon and evening with an extra performance Sunday evening at Sharon Center United Methodist (SCUM) Church.
Y'all take care.

Well, that sucked. Made it to work on time in spite of the freezing rain, and my first three patients were cancellations.

Well, that sucked. Made it to work on time in spite of the freezing rain, and my first three patients were cancellations. Isn't the preferred term "deceased"? Geez, doctors and their jargon...

Morning - warming up and getting "melty" around here during the day and refreezing at night. Always makes the first step on any sidewalk or parking lot a bit of an adventure. Looks like Sandy will get the tree up this week but I don't think any of us are particularly feeling it - been a long year.

The frozen stuff stayed north and west of here. Home today and maybe feeling well enough to work on cigar box guitar #2. Oncologist visit tomorrow after six weeks of this chemo drug. No scan, just blood work to see if this stuff is frying my liver

Geez, Dick. That is tough. Your matter of fact attitude is admirable.

Good morning. I thought we'd cancelled Tuesday. It's still warm here, 50s-70s, but next week it should be a more normal 40s-60s. Enjoy your day.

Found out on FB that my best friend from childhood died this morning. The surprise is that she lived 4 years after being diagnosed with COPD instead of the one year that was expected. She had such a positive attitude that we never knew how bad things were. I'm putting off telling Mr. H as we're about to go get his two wisdom teeth extracted. He doesn't need anything else on his mind.

John -- Those are lovely stories, thanks for posting them.
Cold here, gray. I ran the nightside news editing ops last night and get to do that again tonight, then it's three days of lesser worker-bee duties that I actually enjoy, so I'm looking forward to that.

I forgot to sign in. Thank you for the many calls, notes, and letters of concern. I am glad I was missed but I simply did not think to say "good morning" today and, since it is dark out and very night-like, there is no sense in posting now. There is always tomorrow.

I was just negligent in my posterie, which is the act of posting, as my fellow English majors know. I regret causing so much worry.
