So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, Hobson. I lost a good friend a year ago and it is a hard thing to go through. My sympathies.

Thanks, guys. The death is really just hitting me today. We weren't that close anymore, had gone our separate ways. She got married at 18 and I went out of state to college. But we always visited when I was in Montana, where she still lived. There are so many memories coming back to me.
As for Mr. H, he's doing surprisingly well. Getting tired of soft foods already, but things seem to be healing nicely.
