Good morning everyone! Stay warm.
The daily is heavy lifting, but someone has to do it.

hey, first official day back to work after a couple weeks, but skipped out and got my arms zapped with electricity.
not really clear enough to look for the comet--a shame.

Zero out there. Warmer in here. Guess whether I spend the day outside or in. Have a good one.

Monday Errands to run today, guitars to work on. Have to figure out why my hydration chambers is not working properly. Full pan of water in there and it was only 35%, no where near high enough.

It'll be warmer in the car.
I'm on my back again on the floor typing on my notebook. Set up for a day of computer work. Hot coffee, kleenixes, some paperwork, and my cellphone all within arms length. Now to get at it.
It's a nippy one out there. Be careful people.

Good morning. 40's here but dropping for the next few days to uncomfortable levels for us southern wimps. Good luck staying warm up north.
Started adding up medical expenses for 2014 in preparation for taxes. This is going to be an ugly number. Mary's Obamacare plan didn't pay for much of anything so between the premiums and the out-of-pocket expenses I think I'll hit about 25% of gross income. That sucks.

Snowed all weekend and now it's rain and slush this morning. I figured out why there have been about 100 head of elk in my yard the last few days. My neighbor down the hill put a bunch of hay up then went to Texas for the winter, and the elk have found a way in.

Been working on our medical expenses for taxes too. They're a lot more than usual, but not 25% of gross income.
Back to having chorus rehearsals today. Looking forward to some new music and seeing some people.

Still pretty darn cold, but I drive past a bank in the mornings that has a flag on top, and it was blowing hard from the south, so that's encouraging.
But that doesn't mean its not Monday.

My sister was complaining this morning that it was 34 in Houston. I got to respond that at the same time it was 37 here. Chinook winds blowing to beat hell.

My sister was complaining this morning that it was 34 in Houston. I got to respond that at the same time it was 37 here. Chinook winds blowing to beat hell. Ten below right now, and it's sposed to get colder tomorrow. I have the thermostat set at 66 and the furnace is pretty much running nonstop. So how do the Minneapolis and St. Paul school districts handle this "emergency"? They sent out tweets last night, saying, "Bundle up tomorrow -- it's going to be cold." (And just hope your bus is on time.)

Wear warm socks. Put on long johns. Put chemical heaters in all your pockets. Build fires everywhere you can. Turn the furnace up above 66 so you can actually use your fingers. Think about spring. Don't go outside unless you need food and make sure you are really hungry before you go. Put on furry slippers. Use heavy blankets whenever you can. Let the car warm up before you get in it. Send hate mail to the weatherman. Scowl a lot. Other than that, just live normally.

She's taking a solo trip to Hawaii for a week. On her agenda are whale watching, sky diving, and a tattoo.
