I remember a story a reporter did after one of Ernie's MVP years. They supposedly plugged his numbers into the stats of every other team in the league. As a shortstop he was leading the league in HRs (or pretty close). But the reporter said if Banks was on any other team, they would have won the Division.
Sorry Banks never got to see a World Series in Wrigley.
