Good morning. Hunting season must be over. The heard of deer are roaming the farm fields this morning. They were in my front yard yesterday afternoon. 20 degrees out and not going to get past freezing today and it's breezy which makes it worse. I wonder how much indoor vapeing I can get away with today. With surgery in 2 days, man do I want a Marlboro but I won't.

As I made my green tea with honey and lemon, I stared bleakly at the thermometer out the kitchen window. Bone chillingly cold. I mused upon a favorite line of Keats, "St Agnes Eve---Ah bitter chill it was/ the owl, for all his feathers, was acold..."
Marginally above zero here. But very strong winds. And another storm coming.
Oh, yes, and I know St Agnes Eve was actually Jan 20th.

Good Morning Good People
Cold with hazy sunshine. Off to the office to deal with issues that are providing job security. Might work on ceiling fans later.
Have a sensational Saturday one and all.

Morning
Working at the Podium again today and then off to Cap't Donn's for a get together. First I need to do the final adjustment to the new 1260 and then I'll take it along today to show off.

Up an atom.
Chewing my cereal and blueberries as we speak. Went into the city and saw some friends play last night. Got a couple videos with my new iphone mic. I'll have to see how they turned out.
After breakfast today, the morning project is to replace the kitchen faucet. Should be an adventure.

Another gray day and still drizzling. Got a little over 2 inches of rain out of this storm so far and it may last until tomorrow. Yesterday, instead of our usual walk on the multi-use path, we walked the mall before heading to the grocery store. Don't really want to do that a second day, so we'll probably bundle up and give it a try. A hike was planned for tomorrow. It may be brunch at a new place instead.

Up.
Coffee.
Going to help one of the daughters with a move today. Not exactly fun. But whatever. Then off to a hockey game tonight with another daughter.
Supposed to get some snow by tomorrow. That will be nice.

Up. Coffee. Satisfying poll on the Globe and Mail about what a dickhead Stephen Harper is. It's cold, cold tomorrow and then the rest of the month is normally cold. What an exciting life I'm leading.

Snow is on it's way. Don't want it, but it is winter after all.

Nice haiku, LJ.
Cold and clear here, cold being in the mid 30s, but it should warm up. Yesterday afternoon drove the bus in short sleeves with the window open, basking in the warmth. Feels like spring without the rain.
Today we're taking the Buick in for brake work, then I'm taking Katie to this guys house who runs a business out of it selling high end olive oils, aged traditional balsamic vinegars, and salts, for a little care package for her birthday. (She discovered the good stuff when her boyfriend took her to a very fancy Italian restaurant and decided there was no reason not to experience the same at home.
Tonight, dinner celebration with the fandamly, hard to believe she is 20.
Mike
