7th day of being 67 but that's not a milestone. Foggy and drizzly here but that means we're above freezing for a change. I fear this will just melt some of the snow and turn the place into a skating rink when it goes back below freezing for the next couple of days.
As another installment in the "Nothing's ever easy" vein, the insurance company refused the bills for the operation because they billed the wrong insurance company. Hope I can fix that with a phone call tomorrow.

I will be retired 5 years on June 10. Wow! That is hard to believe. I have enjoyed it so much that it has gone by in a flash. Enjoy the days and think about retiring.

Awake. Two thumbs! G'day, pickers. And ten fingernails, the only one of which having a nick is my picking hand index finger. A problem for us Merle and Chet fans.

Good Morning Good People
Chilly, partly sunny, no change in the weather in the foreseeable future. Ten years, five months, and three days until retirement, but who's counting.
Maybe some music or workshop time before an evening in the office so I can prep for a boring training session tomorrow.
Have a serene Sunday one and all.

Morning
-8F right now, probably won't get above 0. Slept in real late but then I stayed up late too. I'll be putting some stuff up on Ebay today but other than that I'll probably be lazy.

For Todd's info. This is my 1845th day of retirement. Shut up, Bob. With -15 wind chills today, it's entirely too cold to go anywhere. I'm gonna stay home and work on Greg's picking lesson.

Wife gone + dangerous wind chills = time to get something done in the shop. Fretting a beautiful Brazilian fretboard on my first double side Mahogany size 2.

I see you like the 8oz Stanley dead blow for fretting too. Too bad they don't make them in black any more, I hate Safety Orange. Mine is due for replacement so I guess I;ll have to bite the bullet and get a damn orange one.

I can always find that hammer. I'm thinking about painting all my tools orange.
