its impossible to say whether it's genetic, or just determined by what people are exposed to early in life. No it's not. Watch: It's genetic. It's just determined by what people are exposed to. See? From now on, don't make claims that are so easily dis-proven.

Yes, I can say it, too:
It's genetic.
It's just determined by what people are exposed to.
And I don't think saying it was particularly difficult. I think you'd better go back to the drawing board on that one, Chester.

I look *a lot* like my mom's dad who passed away when I was fairly young. He was self taught on anything with strings and was always playing at family functions and whatnot. Usually solo as guitar, harmonica, singing old 50's country stuff. From what I can glean from my aunt and mom he was much better than I'll ever be, but no doubt I get whatever talent I have from him as no one else in the family seems much inclined. As far as nature vs. nurture I would say yes. The nurture maybe plants the seed, but how far you go and quickly you get there is the nature part. I use the gunfighter analogy. Some guys in the wild west were better at it then others and both probably wanted to live in just about the same amounts.

Amazing. I can't say it anymore. Weird.
