Anybody listen? It was on Bob Edwards' show this evening.
1. He's still alive...about to turn 95.
2. Great interview. Ken is in full command of his wit, creativity and faculties.
3. How does a 95 year-old keep that voice??!!!
BIG FAN HERE

I think Bob Edwards was on NPR Morning Edition for along time. Yeah. Bob was the voice of Morning Edition for about 30 years. He always pronounced his name like; Bwob Edwards.Ken Nordine always talked like he was on halucinatory drugs anyway. (In a nice sort of way).

Thanks for the reminder, FC. He hasn't been on Morning Edition for years.

Bob Edwards WAS Morning Edition. He left very suddenly and I don't think I ever knew exactly why. The impression I got was that Edwards had more integrity than NPR did causing them to part company. That's only an impression. I don't know what the row was about.

His current show is Bob Edwards Weekend. 2 hours. It airs Sunday afternoon on our local NPR affiliate. Good show.
