G'mornin' - the yurt goes up today, the third sign of spring, first the tulips bloom, second the swallows return to the garage

Good Morning Good People
Rainy, but it's a warm spring rain. Purple lilacs are blooming.
Oil change for the van, independent bookstore next door to auto repair shop, home repairs later.
Have a sensational Saturday one and all.

I don't know what a yurt is, but if it is going up, I am all for it. Rain here. Supposed to be cooler but right now it is muggy and not cool at all. Have a good one.

Hey Todd, the secret army is getting ready to invade Garrison and since they don't have an empty Wal-Mart store to put you in they will stick you in a large barn. Meanwhile they have taken over El Paso and are heading toward Pecos and heading east. I hear it was an airborne assault on Garrison. They will be taking your mushrooms. Watch your woods to the north. Mary and I are in our bunker.

Morning
A cool 67f today, rain later, lawn won't get done unless grandsons show up early, they won't.
Up early for a Saturday but I slept well, I needed it.
First thing up this morning is a bass for a set up and new pickup.

Good morning. Played both of Mr. Kennedy's new guitars yesterday. The archtop is delightful, resurrected from the dreaded red reso. The size 2 parlor... um... where do I even begin? So much sound in such a little guitar. Clear, bell-like, articulate, incredibly responsive to dynamics. I'm going to have to go back over to the Podium and play this one again before it's gone.

Hey everyone. Off to Corvallis again to take more house stuff to Katie. Hopefully back in time to get in a paddle on the Willamete this afternoon. The water is just beginning to warm up, early this year I guess because of the low level of the rivers.

Regional road trip today w/ Babzi -- hike to Hidden Falls in Big Woods State Park, shopping visits to Faribault Woolen Mills and Faribault Cheese Cave, late lunch at the historic Archer House in Northfield, should be a great day.

To quote Alfred Hitchcock, "Good evening".
With all the week's disasters under control, I think, I went golfing this morning. I played 9 but walked 11 when I couldn't find my pitching wedge and walked back a couple of holes to where I had last used it. It wasn't there. Although the guy I was playing with had looked in his bag and hadn't found it, when I got back to the hole we were playing, he handed it to me. He says I must have put it in his bag but I don't think I did that. Anyway I got some extra exercise in 80 degree heat and high humidity. Shot 50 but 8 holes were better than that. Took a 7 on a par 3 after slicing the drive into the trees. Otherwise, 5 bogies and a couple of doubles which is the best I've done since last year.

Now he has to fix the guitar I wired. Somehow I got a cold solder joint.
