I cannot believe it is Friday already. No rain yet, but it is cloudy and looks like it might start any minute. I am going to spend the day listening to music since I finally got my CDs and LPs all unpacked. Cool.
Enjoy the day and let's be careful out there.

G'mornin' - garbage day, surprisingly WM leases a landing craft to get their collection truck to the island while the ferry is out and doesn't charge any more for the service (I suppose they may send a bill to the county).
Have a good'un y'all!

Got the day off. Picking up the Airstream and going to a state park in Newport OR for the weekend. Plans are to play guitar, play pinochle with Anita's folks and visit Rogue Brewery. And it's Dungeness crab season so we will try to pick up a couple from the docks. Hope your weekend is great.

Pretty happy weekend for Billy, as both dottirs are in town, with hubbies and grand-nugget Afton, now 9 months old and so sweet! Got to hang with all of them last night at a wedding rehearsal dinner -- both dottirs are bridesmaids for a dear family friend who will wed on Saturday. One of my sons-in-law had never been on an airplane before this trip (a Carolinah boy)!

Building a back yard playhouse in Denver. Sore arm from hammering nails. Never use nails for outdoor construction. Use deck screws.

”… The eagle flies on Friday… “ Oh shit. Just barely Mornin'..... Another quiet dayweekend. Carrie went to Albuquerque for the hot air balloon festival with friends, returning Monday about the same time as Barb and I get back from KC and biopsy #4. Ham loaf I made yesterday came out pretty darned good. Feels great to get back in the kitchen, tastes better that horsepital food. I will presume we're all having a fine Friday.

Never use nails for outdoor construction. … Absolutely not! Save your nails for guitar playing. Thanks Mark. I knew there was another reason for not using nails in outdoor construction besides not having your construction fall down. I would have remembered that if I wasn't so forgetful. BTW what are we talking about.

And the second thing is......... I forget. Oh... I think you all were talking about snails?
