So it's exactly what we thought it was. They knew full well what they were getting into and it did not bother them in the least. I still find it hard to believe. It goes well beyond common bigotry. DOM is one thing. Calling for the execution of gays is just . . . wow. People are going to vote for these guys. Even here where I thought something like this would be quickly and unreservedly condemned, we get nothing but defense of the candidates or total silence. We live in a much stranger world than I thought.

Well I'm not someone who would vote for these guys. As a pacifist I'm not in favor of anybody killing anybody unless attacked. Would I have gone? If I got a chance to speak maybe. Other wise no.
But then I wouldn't have noticed as those guys aren't in the running anyway. Didn't notice till it was brought up here.

In addition, I am glad Millring seems to have reconsidered his defense of the GOP candidates concerned and deleted some earlier posts.
