Well. Light is rising on the horizon here. Took my meds. Drank a little vine before its time. Think I'll curl up and go back to sleep and let the little sugar plum fairies dance in my head. I'm outta here...

Interesting ride into work today. Winter's first storm. Only 2-3 inches but mixed in with freezing rain. Ya think folks that live up here would have learned to deal with that. But nooo.... The guy in front of me couldn't get out of the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. A work van and he just spun his wheels. Take it EZ dude.

Sinuses are battling me. I've had a cold for a couple of weeks. Wild coughing. Coughing my guts out. I've been taking decongestants. They help. I went to a clinic for the pink-eye I have. (yuck). The NP said I have allergies. I know there's old in the house. I think it's attacking me.
Last night I thought I'd try going without drugs. WHAM - what an awful night. Very little sleep. Wild coughing fits. Thick slimy gunk coming up.
I gotta do something about this ! ! ! !

No meds, other than a couple beers. Might give up my arm crutch tomorrow or the 31st--it's probably time, but it's also a crutch/dependency thing. One more daughter home tomorrow for the holidays. So Saw most of an interesting film earlier, The Children's Hour. Hepburn & MacClaine as teachers, accused by a rogue student of being lovers. In 1961. Overly melodramatic, but it worked pretty well.

Morning, all.
Since a lot of snow was predicted for last night I brought home everything I'm working on. It worked just like last time I prepared for it, we got lots less than they said (most of it landed just south of us.) Still working from home, of course, given that yesterday we had a grand total of six people in the office and both shops.

The waining moon is glowing through the clouds this morning, not too cold, not too wet, not a bad start of the day.

I'm working and my wife is in the woods deer hunting. She will probably not shoot as she just likes to watch (mostly) but it ain't right I tell you. Something is wrong.

Steady rain all last night, but it's supposed to break up a bit today. Going to be a balmy 60F here.
Working at home.
Tonight we go out and buy a new computer. Jane's HP is getting long in the tooth. We're thinking a Macbook Air. She travels a lot and the light weight is really appealing, as well as the fact that with no spinning hard drive, she can't bang it and destroy the drive (which she has done before).

Clearing here after rain earlier and it's back in the 60s. I may go back to pressure washing the carpet around the pool if it gets closer to 70. Got to put the Christmas stuff back in the attic first though.

Potassium, calcium, percoset were in last night's bedtime cocktail. My back went out a couple days ago, had to call the Army Corps of Engineers to put my socks on... vastly improved today but still dicey.
Some guy walked past the house this morning, snowblowing the boulevard sidewalk the entire length of the block. I was going to thank him on his return trip, but he never came back. He could be in the suburbs by now...

Morning
We got snow, about 3-4 in. at my place.
I'm online from the Podium, internet is out at my place. It has always been iffy any time there is weather and I'm getting tired of asking them to fix it, I think it's time to change internet carriers. But not Comcast.
