Well. 10 degrees. Winter's finally here for us New Englanders. It was a sweetheart deal while it lasted.
Put a new battery in last year. Twill be a fine day if the starter drops a nut.

74 here last week, 16 this morning. I fired up the gas heater in the kitchen to take the chill off the place. Mary gets all pissed off if I vape indoors but I ain't going out. When she quit she said she wouldn't be a reformed whore but that didn't last long.

Most of the way thru a DVD called "Whiplash," and tho it's rated well overall, I completely agree with the negative reviews.
The extreme drill sergeant version of music instruction just doesn't fly with me.

It's getting colder here too. The coyotes were really whining about it last night.

It's 35 degrees and foggy here. Got a half inch of rain yesterday and more coming through Friday. The good news is that we think our furnace is fixed. Mr. H ordered a new control/lockout module. When he was going to install it, he found that the one that we paid big bucks for the furnace guy to put in 4 years ago was wired incorrectly. So Mr. H rewired that one and, so far, the furnace hasn't failed to light.

It's warming here, 2nd day in a row no frost on the porch, mostly because we recovered our cloud blanket. Enjoy you're revitalized winter

Cold doesn't bother me. I don't care how cold it gets…
…well, down to 70° F or so. After that, forget it.

Hi!.....
Back from OKC and KCMO. Bonded with granddaughter Naiu, can't wait to see her again. (Photo coming in separate thread.) Uneventful trip to KC, all procedures went just fine. No results yet. One last biopsy in February and that's basically it for biopsies unless at some point down the road, the Allomap labs (the blood test) shows anything suspicious. Just got a call from the transplant office and the 8th biopsy was also clean! And they are also lowering my Prednisone again. A little at a time, but it's all good. So far, everything except the hand tremors and shakiness is headed in the right direction.

Awesome, Don.
Well, twelve drummers drumming. My count was off for all the twelve days. Epiphany is the day the Magi arrive. Thought Epiphany was the 12th day. Not. Thirteen days after Christmas Day. Well I'll be hornswaggled. No more Christmas ties, and the mistletoe comes down. Think I'll miss that most of all.
