Pretty sure I'm right. On the road to play practice. But, first, a stop a McDonald's for my Egg McMuffin.

Oh, it's -10. Nothing an Egg McMuffin can't see me through.

Good morning. Wore the elbow brace to bed last night, big mistake. I woke up with my left arm so swollen it looked like Popeye. It's still swollen but I managed to get the brace off along with my watch and wedding ring. The whole thing felt like a brick but I can move the fingers and guess there's no lasting damage. So much for the brace idea.

Soundhole ribs tonight, & saved the pressure-cooker water for stock. With rice, salad, and an avo on the side of all that.
Cooler last night and today--mid 30s for the F people, 2-4 for the C types.
Bruce--sorry the brace didn't work.

Epaul, , as long as you are there, McDonald's has nice, clean restrooms. Sorry about the arm, Bruce.
It's zero degrees out there.

It's mornings like this that I really appreciate having a remote starter on the car.

Balmy 14 degrees here right now. Wind makes it feel like -6, or so they say. Nice day to be inside instead of outside.

It's mornings like this that I really appreciate having a remote starter on the car. An attached garage does the trick as well. For our retirement home we insisted on only 2 things, an attached garage and an automatic generator. Had em in the last rental, never want to be without them.

In bed by 9 last night and up and atom. New air pressure regulator plumbed and in, lots of new work coming in. No drama on the near horizon.

raining, but should be over 40 later. Only have the crababble left to prune, then gather the prunings for the burn pile. It should be a slow day.

Moving my mom into an Assisted Living place today. It's a trial period. She's 88 and apprehensive. But it's really the best thing for her, and secretly i think she knows it. But still change is tough.
