I know this is a serious matter but I have to smile at least a little at the outrage the Democrats are expressing over the alleged Russian hacking of their emails and the charge that the Russians are interfering with the election. Don't any of them remember the number of times the U.S. has done the same thing?
Maybe the most disingenuous part of the Democrat's response is that they're trying to make this a story about the Russians. I hope the media doesn't let them get away with it although I fear that's what's happening because my news feeds are now full of how happy and united the Dems are and I haven't seen anything about the email scandal except as it pertains to the Russians. My take on this is that the actions of the Debbie Wasserman Schulz and her crowd are outrageous. If I was a Sanders supporter I would have a difficult time swallowing this.
What is kind of sad is that the Democratic leadership is going to get away with their shenanigans because beating Trump at the polls is where they need to focus right now. Sure DWS lost her job. Big deal! The tail may have been cut off but the dog is still alive and well. It doesn't solve anything.
I have to think it must have been difficult for Bernie to take the stage tonight and support Hillary despite knowing that he was right all along; to some extent the primary process was rigged in her favor. I admire him for being the "bigger man" in all of this.

Thing is, a solid case can be made that the Russians did this because Putin wants Trump to win.
Try spinning that in the election.

As solid as any conjecture-based, evidence-free conspiracy theory.

Read somewhere that there's strong suspicion that the Russians will release some of the emails from Clinton's private email server.
Can't wait to hear the lying turds dissemble that one.

"Let them get away with it"? 160 o backwards. They need to let them get away with it. If they don't, it might finally dawn on the public that one of the things the emails makes crystal clear is that the DNC was colluding with the media to undermine Sanders. Let that one sink in. As long as we're mad at the boogeyman Russians, we may not notice that the media is working hand in glove with the DNC. HEY! LOOK OVER THERE!

The Russians are part of the story. Sabotaging Bernie is part of the story. Bernie being an outsider, joining the Democratic Party only to run as President is part of the story. Pissed off supporters and how they handle things is part of the story. The undemocratic aspects of political parties are part of the story. The resignation of Wasserman-Schultz is part of the story. And there may be more to the story as it plays out.
NOT part of the story is Republicans. Sure, they'll talk about it at every opportunity, but considering all they've tried to do with Trump, no one but a fool would pay any attention. Also not part of the story is a liberal media conspiracy, but we've already covered foolishness, so there's no need to elaborate.

Another part of the story is that Bernie is not the only impostor. Donald Trump is also a pretender who needed to chose a party and his eenie meeny miny mo ended up Republican.
I can think of only two professions where it's possible to kick the crap out of one's opponent for 6 months and then be best friends; politics and pro wrestling. When you stop and think about it those two professions have a lot in common.
What a world!

I love the "is the Russian's fault!" spin almost as much as the "Poor, sweet, innocent Hillary is just a victim of DWS's treachery" spin.
But who cares? It's all bullshit.
The only part that continues to amaze me is that there are people who think more and more government is the answer to anything. I'd think one look at this cesspool would be enough to convince anyone. Apparently faith dies hard.

Seems to me that it should be plainly and painfully obvious that if the Russians have been reading the DNC's and Democratic Party's emails and quite likely Hillary Clinton's emails that there is only one person that the Russians would want elected and only one that would give them any advantage based on whatever information they obtained.

Now George Will is saying that Trump won't release his tax returns because it would show that he is deeply colluding with Russian oligarchs.
So Russian agencies hack the DNCs emails, then release them in an attempt to disrupt the Democratic convention, giving an advantage to Trump. Trump wins and Putin has a stooge in the White House as he takes over the countries of the former Soviet Union.
Did I mention that Melania is a Putin agent?

So either way Putin gets to call up the new POTUS and ask, "Kto tvoy papochka?" Diabolical.

While 30,000 deleted Hillary e-mails remain a mystery. Nothing to hide?
