Good morning. Noticed last night it was still light outside at 5:45PM, even though it had been overcast all day.

Morning
19F/-7C Sunny but back to being cold.
Shop time today, maybe a trip to the hardware store. We'll see if the City will pickup the recycling today, bet they don't get it until Thursday even though they insist our pickup day is today.

Might be just a tiny bit less dreary today than yesterday, but it is hard to tell. We a planning a Nashville trip just to brighten our outlook. We wanted to go last year but did not get around to it. It will be interesting to see the new Gruhn and Carter shops. Have a good one.

A big dump of snow yesterday and more due today. When I got home last night Sandy had already hopped on the tractor and plowed the whole place. She's awesome.

Good, but gloomy, morning. Just cloudy, no rain expected.
Happy February. I did my 1st of the month accounting this morning and thanks to the Trump bump, I'm back in good shape. I know that several of you who have IRAs or 401ks wouldn't want to touch the dirty money you've gained since November so if you'll just send me a check for your gains since the election I'll take the dirty money off your hands and absolve you of any potential problems with your conscience. PM me for the address. Just trying to help.

It will be interesting to see the new Gruhn and Carter shops. Have a good one. Don't forget Cotten. It is a favorite for Nashville musicians to turn over their gear. At first glance it is the equal of Gruhn and Carter. At least in acoustic instruments. My Nashville visits include those 3 stores, Roberts Western Wear on Friday and Saturday night's to see Brazil Billy's band and Monday to the Time Jumpers. A complete weekend for me. And I vastly prefer lower Broadway on Sunday morning. Some very seasoned vets playing solo 50's-60's country.

Waiting. I have been waiting since yesterday. Tried to finish the taxes, but still need one piece of information on a mutual fund. Tried to get an appointment with a new (to me) internist. Phone system for such appointments is automated and I'm waiting to get called back. Then it will probably be months before I can get in. Followed up with our attorney's office on some changes to estate documents that we asked for two weeks ago. Got voicemail. Waiting for a call back. Need to review the draft documents before we can make an appointment to sign them in Scottsdale, which will be an overnight trip.
Hoping that things will be settled this morning so that I can take advantage of the warm and sunny afternoon to do some yard work. Meanwhile I'm working on chord sheets for chorus music. Also about to start that first of the month accounting. I'm sure it will look good and I don't feel bad about that. Sorry, Bruce.

In earlier than usual. Pillbox to reload, 30 minutes.
I just may have to take a nap. Run Carrie to orthodontist appointment, but Barb brings had home later.
This is the time that I have really dreaded.....the time when I can't even pick up my guitar.....at all. Yes, I will whine.

Nice people and great guitars.
