Stick a cell phone inside the hole and photograph the note.

I wrote a little love note to my family on my top before the box was closed. Only problem is that it appears backwards when I look at it with a mirror. Frank Ford did a reset, refret, and new saddle slot on an HD-28 I had. He glued a small biz card on the top that was printed in reverse--so that you could read it in a mirror.

There is a long tradition of writing Bible verses, wise sayings, or strange sayings inside dulcimers. Matthew 6:33 is on the underside of the top of my first dulcimer. There is a Bible verse on the underside of the top of Todd's dulcimer, but I can't remember what it is. Might be Micah 6:8.

Welcome back ChicagoBob! I recall spending some quality time with your Alvarez-Yairi at the very first IdiotJam. A cherished instrument that has aged well and treated its owner well.

Yep, that old thing sings better than ever. Almost ready for its fourth set of frets.

Yep, that old thing sings better than ever. Almost ready for its fourth set of frets. Wonderful! That means you're still playing. We've seen far too little news of you.

Stick a cell phone inside the hole and photograph the note. Take a selfie from inside the guitar. But don't forget to wear your eclipse glasses.

Is there a phone number preceded by the phrase "for a good time call?" Good to see ya Bob!
