Phosphor bronze.
80/20 is often referred to as "bright".

The Basie-est: I know this doesn't help, but I could not resist a pitch right over the plate.

Phosphor bronze sounds warmer overall than 80/20. In my opinion, 80/20 sounds tinny on a spruce-topped guitar, but can add some brightness and color to a dark-sounding cedar or mahogany-topped instrument.
I highly recommend listening to the Count Basie Orchestra, on both old recordings and newer performances. I had the privilege of hearing them a few years ago (led by Count Basie's long-time trombonist) in a small venue designed for chamber music. The audience was blown away. A big band sound both classic and modern, and delivered with pure class.

I like 80/20s on my HD-28. I tend to use PBs on everything else. 80/20 feel like they have slightly less tension than PBs--to me, anyway. I am old enough to remember when there were no PBs. I also walked barefoot to school, uphill both ways with wolves following me.

I like the way the phosphor ones glow in the dark.

I've always liked a good PB&J.
