Good morning.
It stayed too windy to spray paint yesterday so I got new acrylic nails and played classical instead. Today's iffy too. I may have to default to a brush if I want to get the back of the quilt studio painted before Winter sets in. Got some errands to run first this morning then I'll check my ambition level.
Happy Saturday.

I'd like to be able to distill various forms of reality into a gif.
It would simplify a lot of things in my life.

Good Morning Good People
Chilly and rainy. We moved back into our house last night. We were out all week whilst the hardwood floors were refinished. About 800 square feet covering most of the first floor, stairway, and upstairs hallway. They used vacuums and dust collectors, but there is still fine dust in every nook and cranny. Spent about four hours last night cleaning bedrooms and bathroom before we could go to bed. Resuming cleaning on the first floor this morning. Muscular son and nephew coming tomorrow afternoon to move heavy furniture back to the living room. The floors look great. We will move out before they need refinishing again.
Have a fine Saturday one and all.

Low of 44F last night, coldest this season. Not coincidentally, Mr. H shut down and drained the evap cooler yesterday and got the furnace started. It may not come on for a few days, but we're ready.
Planning a day of not having to go anywhere. Maybe will emerge from the house to go to brunch tomorrow.

Up and awake. Four chapters into The Constable's Tale. Shhh - no hints! Just a little hint that will help (I know I wish someone had told me, it sure would have helped). Don't let the word constable throw you off the track. The main dude guy is some kind of town sheriff or something. I don't know why Don didn't just title it "The Town Sheriff's Tale" or "The Town's Enforcer of the Laws Tale". Constable? Is that even a word? On what planet? Anyway, that's why the main guy gets to put people in jail and investigate stuff. He is some type of colonial cop. (usually, I can figure out a mystery word by its context, but this one took most of the book. I ended up having to start over because my initial guesses were so far off that nothing made any damn sense at the end. Or the middle. Not to mention the beginning.)

Ken - I'm gonna miss Miss CandyApple With her cast-iron bra. No wonder that darned ladybug/fly stayed put through all that gyrating. And the cheesy kiss.
