Not that there’s much of a hump. Only working 2 days this week. But playing guitar for 2 events. A wedding and an assisted living gig. Fun.

Good morning. Celebrating not being in Erie,Pa. Erie apparently had a record snowfall and that's got to be alot of snow.
No snow here and hanging around near freezing the next few days anyway.
Started going through my old 35mm slides yesterday but my old projector popped a circuit breaker and died. The digitizer I got does have a small pre-view screen and I'll have to go through them with that. Someday, I may take the projector apart and try to see if I can fix it but don't have that kind of ambition right now. The first 100 I went through turned out to be from the '70s with baby pictures of my son and other family kids born about the same time, our '74 vacation in New Hampshire, our first house in New York, my son when he was in Little League. Mostly good memories. I haven't found the Antarctica slides yet but they're here somewhere. Good winter hobby.
Happy Wednesday. We're running out of 2017 and there's a Spring in 2018. Can't wait.

Eight below here and we have another week of this stuff in the forecast, at least. Even though I'm used to winters in these climes, every year it gets to be a little more of a challenge. Yesterday I got home from work to my 61-degree house, took off my long Land's End coat, put on my shorter Cabella's jacket over my sweatshirt and fleece vest, put on a ballcap and settled into my evening routine as the house warmed to a luxurious 68 degrees. Guess what -- the jacket and other two layers never came off until this morning!

freezing, rain expected later. The last of the relatives are leaving today, it's been fun, and I look forward to seeing them the next time. Mom has enjoyed them immensely and I think this time she's actually been able to hold to her promise of NOT cooking for them (other than holiday cookies). better days y'all

Good morning from the bitter cold of Brew Town! Good day to sit by the fireplace with a novel!
However, my guy and I will probably do some returns today including the guitar he bought me (a Fender Strat) that is just too much guitar for me. Thanks to the wisdom I acquired here 😁 I was able to graciously request an alternative. We will see what we can find.
I think I may need to return to some lessons with my guitar teacher to maximize my appreciation of the electric guitar. Since I had never made mention of wanting an electric, but the guitar was under the tree with a pair of silver coated jeans, methinks me guy fancies me a “rocker”! 😂
Stay warm and happy, my friends!

Morning
2F/-16C Sunny now but snow tonight.
Been avoiding it for days now but the time has come, I have to go out. This afternoon will be spent doing errands and shopping. Like Bill I'm am getting less able to deal with the MN winters. Heated car seats are a blessing. But first some shop time.

Morning all. It’s not quite light yet in Maui, and we had a little rain last night, but it’s still to warm to go without the ac on. Today we are going to a farmers market for fresh fruit and veggies, then to a goat farm up country, for a tour and to sample cheeses. This afternoon Katie and I will stand up paddle for a bit while Mom reads on the beach. Mike

Good morning everybody
Today I’m going to the Marin court 2nd time.... a break for my 4 tickets
I was moved 14 times for a month. I couldn’t find all my bills. I’ll live in an solo apartment soon.
So I just played the Fisherman song. But I do it a little slower But it still works.
Have a good day brethren!
And also I need to practice my piano for a gig in senior assistance living housing. This place have a great piano - grand Steinway

Good day, all! Seems to me there was something special going on today, but I don't recall what. Maybe it'll come to me. It got darn close to -30 again last night with another toasty -10 high coming our way later this afternoon. Still no wind and lots of sun and the dogs don't seem to mind the cold at all. Especially Casper, he wants to be out all the time (keeping the wolves and bears at bay). Old Rusty likes to be in by the fireplace.

Dang it's cold. -21 at the lake shore. I had to warm up the car to take it to the mail box and it's -22 at the top of the road. Celsius. Minus 7 or 8 Fahrenheit. I usually walk the dog up to get the newspaper but not today. Poor Lola got a car ride but no run today.

Old Rusty likes to be in by the fireplace. I am both old and rusty, so I understand.

Cold here too. My supervisor is one of those workaholics who thinks she has to keep on working no matter what. She's with her family in a house they rented, with a pool, for a week in San Diego and apparently she can't find anything to do but text people like me with innocuous stupid things that don't matter even though we're all off contract for a week even though all her family and grandkids are there. At first I was angry for her bringing up work during non-work time, but a bit of thinking makes me feel sorry for her. People like her have no idea that others don't think the way she does. Sad, really. I'm in the Christmas spirit and in that light I wish her angst would go away.
