There you go...!
(In other news, isn't it nice that that U.S. hasn't had any sea monster attacks this year? I mean really, why aren't the major media outlets reporting on--and properly crediting--this astounding leadership accomplishment?)

I'z here
Looks like the bitter cold is moving east leaving just very cold, see Vinton and Minneapolis in the positive numbers. Enjoy the warm weather.
And it's snowing in N FL
Still about the same here high 30s to upper 60s. With maybe some rain next week - haven't had any since 9-8.

14 here this morning but supposed to get above freezing, just long enough to bring some freezing rain before the snow. Fun, fun, fun. Got to get out there with everyone else and get some groceries this morning.
My crud is getting better but Mary's still feeling bad. She says she'll go grocery shopping so we can spread it around to more people like they spread it to us.
I won't be surprised if they cancel the open mic tonight but haven't heard anything yet. Probably should keep the drunks off the roads much as possible and they'll probably want to let the help go early if there isn't going to be a lot of paying customers anyway.
49 years ago I was at McMurdo and the weather was about the same as here today.
Happy Wednesday.

Nice vid, Marshall!! 😁
I think I am getting used to the cold weather. Tired of being inside so may try to get out for a walk!
My mom is having surgery tomorrow. Her third different skin cancer in 12 months! She had Merkle Cell on her nose. That was a big baddie but they got it all before it spread. Then recently a skin surveillance by a dermatologist turned up melanoma on her arm and basal cell on her leg. She had the melanoma surgery last month. Another good outcome. Tomorrow is the basal cell. It is a big spot right above her knee so I suspect this is going to be a big incision.
My brother and wife are finally realizing they should come and spend time with Mom so are arriving via bus this afternoon. I will pick them up. It will be good to have some help with the after care for Mom this time!!
Anyone know how many days til spring?? 😁

It could have waited till next year to snow on N FL. My great grandson is just barely 1 yr old and won't remember it. In 20 yrs in N FL it snowed once and counting that time in 50+ yrs of off and on in FL that's 2 times. So he's likely to be a grown man before it snows there again. Snow in FL is a feature not an bug.

barely above freezing here, but the moon doesn't care, big ol' bright light in the sky won't let me sleep, or maybe it's the dogs. Bridge this afternoon.
better days y'all

It's actually a really cool catchy chord pattern, ain't it: 2m, 3m, 6m, 6m. 2m, 3m, 6m, 6m. 2m, 3m, 4, 5, 1. Rinse and repeat. That rendition's key would be Eb, or D in capo 1 Em, F#m Bm Bm Em, F#m Bm Bm Em, F#m, G, A D (And the D quickly alternates between a D chord and open strings back and forth) Could be fun to work up an arrangement. Martha sings an octave above my comfortable range. Could be easily workable. Pretty short song, though. Anybody know a good sax player?

Even in paradise one can get the crud. Slight sore throat, low grade fever, and congestion. I blame Bruce.
Off to the farmers market in a bit for apple bananas, which is a small banana grown here that tastes like apples, strawberry papaya, a pink fleshed papaya that is sweeter than the yellow kind, fresh pineapple, and vegies. After that, we will see how I feel. Could be a day of reading by the pool.

Oh, went to a free uke lesson last night at the cannery mall that turned into a song Circle. 1,4,5 pop songs from the Beatles, Bob Marley, Elvis, etc. it was fun.
