Good timing. We've been talking WWII.Dad navigated bombers. He said he was ever grateful he didn't see the death and destruction he caused. Snow supposed to start in 3 hours or so. We're just far enough inland to avoid the worst. Will be interesting.

Up and awake. Insomnia is my constant pain in the butt.
I went to an ENT yesterday and had a camera stuck down my throat through threw (gads!) my nose. Man, that was uncomfortable. Lots of crud down there, so more drugs of a different variety. Next stop is a consult with a no-kidding allergist.

So far so good morning, meaning the power is still on. The wind is whipping around outside and all the screens are snow covered so I can't see what has accumulated. This is supposed to end by early afternoon but it's going to stay cold so the snow won't be melting for several days. As long as the power stays up we'll be OK. The bridge to the mainland is closed so the mail won't get up here today.
If you're not on the coast, count yourself lucky.

Edit: there was a quake 4.4 in Berkeley

I'm tempted to say I'm here, there, and everywhere.
Temps in the mid-30s, some snow but it's not sticking too much.
Son-in-law left today (back to work), daughter and baby here till next week. (daughter goes back to work in April, after her leave)
Too much food these days. I need to set up my bike trainer again, and get going on that, along with maybe pool and something else.
*
Can you believe the market?!??!? Tho this is maybe a melt up before the crash?

Thanks for the “days til spring” count, Marty!
This morning has been whirlwind. Daughter had made alternate childcare plans to free me to take Mom for her surgery. My brother was supposed to have arrived yesterday because for ONCE he was going to help with Mom’s increasing needs. He bailed yesterday. So now I am back in full time care duty for the next week as Mom recovers from today’s procedure. Then the sitter has sick kids so I ended up going over to my daughter’s house early this morning to help them juggle the care situation. The upside was that I took Grand darling to school and she loved it!
Grabbing a travel mug of java fuel and off to fetch Mom. It is so cold but fortunately my new ride has heated seats and steering wheel! 😁
Stay warm and safe, my friends! ❤️

A tip of the hat, good lady.

Good Morning! Anna is meeting with the teacher she will be student teaching under. Gus is off on a five-day National Guard Band tour. They are playing a series of concerts at the high schools in Fargo, Valley City, and Jamestown. The dogs are are chilling out on the rug.

Most definitely up. Just taking a shower and getting breakfast can take a long time using only my left hand. Still working on reducing the swelling and stiffness in the right arm. Couldn't resist.....pulled the Goodall up in my lap and squeezed off an E chord and an A. Had to feel it in my hands.

Good morning. Getting ready for morning practice sessions. Dry January proceeds. Bit warmer here, which means - rain.

Morning all. Oh man, got the crud. Hopefully it will pass soon and at least it’s warm here, so I cant complain too much. Not sure what we will do today. Take it easy and bake it out I guess. Stay warm peoples.
Hey Don, was that A chord using three fingers or one semi barre?
