Here are some photos from my house this morning. Keep in mind that I live an hour southwest of Atlanta. I've got about 3 inches of snow. That might not seem like much, but there is a layer of hard ice under all of it, and all of our roads are impassable. The windchill here this morning was +2 Fahrenheit. Wow, hope it melts soon! Strange that I had to head back to MN to get some "warm" weather (not quite here yet, but coming).

Hang in there Shannon it will pretty much all be gone by Friday. Snow over ice is a problem in places where people aren't use to it. Don't go anywhere you don't really need to go and when you do go out slow way down.

Man, if Vancouver is bad when it hits, can’t imagine your area. Yes, just avoid it, if at all possible.

Very pretty, very odd looking against the back ground of the green trees. That’s the first thing I noticed.
But be careful out there. The snow can be dealt with, the ice really can’t. One difference between up here and down there is that they treat the roads here before a storm. If if snowed that much up here at that temperature, the roads wouldn’t be nearly as bad.

Love the bottom photo.....the depths of view into the woods with the splash of sunshine about halfway in looks cool. Hammond - I learned that in photography class. Same class where I learned to blur backgrounds.

You've got about as much snow in your yard as I do.
