wind blowing up a storm, but it's a warm wind. Monthly bridge, this month in Bellingham so I'm up early and chores will be done early since I have to catch the 9:00 o'clock ferry. Sure wish the sun came up earlier.
better days, eh?

Good Morning Good People
By the powers vested in me I hereby declare this the official January 21 daily. If my head was less fuzzy I could figure out how to merge threads and include Coachdoc's post.
Cloudy and above freezing here. Maybe going to church, otherwise muddling about the house.
Yesterday afternoon I parted with a collection of Fine Woodworking magazines, a nearly complete set from 1985 thru 2013. Sold them via Craigslist to a young woodworker on the lakeshore who will have a great time going through them. Hated to part with them, but I hadn't looked at back issues in a long time and this frees up several cubic feet of storage in my workshop. Proceeds will benefit my next tool or stringed instrument purchase.
Have a peaceful winter (or sort of winter) Sunday one and all.

Good morning!
You're right, Doc.....it's not the same. Still fresh, will take time to adjust.
Off to church, Subway, recliner, playoff game(s). Is there another this evening as well as the one at 2:00?
Have a fine Sunday!

Morning all. Stayed up late last night watching Father Brown and reading. Slept till almost 6:30. So this is a lazy Sunday for me. Light drizzle outside right now. Dogs in front of the fire and coffee is dripping.

Started out at 25F. Got a lot of wind and a whole tenth of an inch of rain yesterday. It was looking iffy on using the BBQ, but we had steak and Caesar salad and baked potatoes and a bottle of wine and my homemade apple pie experiment to celebrate Mr. H getting a year older. The pie was tasty, but not quite the right consistency. I used parts of two recipes.
Now that I know which songs I'm playing what on for my chorus, my practice today will be more focused. Our director is at an age where she needs to do less, but is refusing to let it happen.

Good morning, other than I still can't keep Mary's PC from trying and failing to upgrade. 93% complete "Unexpected error has occurred. retry", I hate Microsoft even more than Democrats today.
We're supposed to get up around 50 today so maybe that will get rid of the snow and ice.
Pats/Jags this afternoon and then we'll see who goes to the Superbowl.

They're poopooing the injury, but I'll bet it affects his grip.

Went to bed late, just stirring. Trying to record some video of me playing yesterday, went not to bad. More today, and a bit of work. Windy and rainy. Quelle surprise.

Good morning, all. "Got a lot of wind and a whole tenth of an inch of rain yesterday." That was our day too, Hobson.
I went for an early walk/photoshoot. They sometimes blend together these days. It was chilly but very pleasant. Enjoy your day.

Got my double side Maple/IRW rimset glued up and back radiused. It’s good to be building something after a long layoff.

What Dan said. Warmish here - 5 C. It has been an outrageous winter and I am sick to death of cold. It was minus 25 at NOON for a string of days a few weeks ago.
My neighbours - Swan Jam hosts, Bob and Betty left for Peru today. I'm babysitting the house.
