Sorry the video is so minimal. Windows 10 doesn't support Movie Maker anymore, so I paid for and downloaded something that's a bit cumbersome to use. It's not like the clips I put together with Movie Maker a few years back were going to make Scorsese nervous, but at least they had titles and credits.
Anyway, I hope to put up another tune or two soon.
Glad Lon's friends are able to hear some of these buried treasures.
Damn, I wish we could have another cup of coffee.

Well, apparently he could fingerpick. Most excellent. His attack there made me think of Kottke, very direct and hard.

There are times when I've heard Maple Leaf Rag on guitar and wouldn't have recognized it as such if I hadn't been told ahead of time. This definitely was Maple Leaf Rag, right from the beginning.
And played to expertly. I can imagine Lonnie making it all look completely effortless as he played it. Thank you again!

Amazing - smooth, precise, fun, and yes, lilting. Scott Joplin needed 88 keys to pull off what Lonnie did on 6 strings.
