Not related to this, but there is some controversy going on between Tim Horton's and their franchisees. One opened earlier in 2018 near here and closed today for good. One that was to be built here in Plainfield appears to be cancelled.

This link says she really needed the restroom, and they wouldn’t let her use theirs. This would never happen at McDonalds!

The point? Mirth at mental illness? For me, it was more about the mirth of the dissonance between the common stereotype of Canadians as being unfailingly polite to the point of obsequiousness and the reality of flinging poo at the cashier.

For me it's the audaciousness to pull down her pants, lay a quick growler, scoop it up in one graceful swipe and fling it.

Why couldn't she use the restroom? I think fast food joints have available restrooms, no? I'd be peeved. Maybe not THAT peeved...

Oh my. A lot of fast food restaurants, you have to get the key. They want customers only to use them. That’s pretty crazy, not too far from here.

And, I really don’t like Tim Horton’s coffee much. But, if you come to Canada, they are everywhere. In Toronto, they are at times on opposite street corners.
