Good morning.
Of the 76 2cu ft bags of mulch I bought I have 10 left and I'll need a few more to mulch the front of the quilt studio. Fortunately. for me, Mary's having the deck of the studio re-done so there's no sense mulching there until that's done. I got the front beds mulched yesterday. Unfortunately, for me, it looks like another nice day for outdoor work, cloudy, 70 with a light east wind. Still have a long "To do" list. The golf course is still too wet for carts anyway.
Try to have a good Monday if you can.

Good evening. Walked the dog, went for a ride, did some shopping, cooked dinner (wife is at her shamisen lesson, and then some minor meeting after, so home alone)--that kind of thing. Probably about the same tomorrow.

We are back in Miss for a few days. We need repairs to la casa movible. A side window just shattered into a million pieces for some reason and we have two holes in the roof (already). Those rubber roofs don't like tree limbs for some reason and Mississippi has an abundance of tree limbs seemingly everywhere we want to go.
We are going back to Orlando in a few days to witness (hopefully) Baby Dottir graduate from Jet Blue Academy. Hopefully because she said that 10 people out of the class ahead of her washed out on the last day. What a heartbreak that must have been. She has been doing great though. She reports that out of her battery of tests her lowest grade has been a 93.
We will be closing out our apartment in the Big O. We are hoping that my son and his girl friend will rent a house when her lease is up in a few months and we will rent a room from them for when we visit. They are currently in our apartment as we are rarely there anymore. Funny how things have changed. It used to be that parents frowned upon their children cohabiting without the benefit of holy matrimony but we are subsidizing it. It just doesn't seem to matter to anyone anymore. It doesn't to us. We have bigger fish to fry and that has slid so far down the "give a shit" scale as to be invisible.
Be good.

Up and awake. I started chasing John through the 100 Pushup Challenge this morning. We'll see where that goes. I am proud to say I got to skip all the way to Week 3. Gig number 2 is tonight. This is another unpaid shake-out session. I drug my Epi Sheraton around the house for about five hours yesterday working on various stuff. That's a great practice guitar, it turns out. I don't need an amp to hear what's going on, and it's not loud enough to draw any attention from elsewhere. Have a good day. Evan, I hope your talk yesterday went OK, my friend. You are a good man.

Spent the weekend digging stumps and rocks out around the place. It was like being in prison. But greener.

Mornin'.....
Quiet day here. Will head into Dodge City shortly to get nails done and do a grocery shop.
There is mowing to do later, and pool work.
Called Dennis yesterday, but caught him in the middle of one of his monthly bridge games. I'll call him again tomorrow afternoon when he'll have more time to visit.

Another cool and rainy day. No plans, which makes it my kind of day.

Morning. It's sunny and warming up. Off to Discount tire this am to see if they have room enough in their parking area to bring in the Airstream. While at the trailer the other day I discovered cracks in the side wall of one of the tires. These tires, Goodyear Marathons, have a poor reputation in the Airstream community. There have been numerous blowouts, with damage to the trailers exceeding 2K. Ther was so much negative buzz about them that Goodyear no longer makes them, and has replaced these Chinese Goodyears with a made in the USA tire that has much better load and speed specs, as a result I've been anal about checking my Marathons, for proper inflation and signs of possible trouble. So I'm off to discount tire to get them replaced. I guessing I'll probably have to remove the wheels myself at my storage unit and have them do one side then mount the new ones and then take them the second set. Pain in the keister but better safe than sorry.

The towmasters had good reviews but I don't have enough miles on them to yell yet. It is quite interesting when you are traveling and here that loud pop of a tire going. Luckily my travel trailer didn't get any damage from the tire when it went.
