Good morning, whatever year it is.
A boater friend down in Atlantic Beach N.C. posted a picture of some harbor festival going on down there yesterday. He labeled it June, 2, 1018. I said if it was 1018 I would have expected Vikings. He blamed old age.
The sun's out but there's thunder in the afternoon forecast so I won't get any painting done today. I did get one of the new shed doors primed yesterday. The weather's supposed to get better this week so maybe I'll get some of this stuff done.
Have a good Sunday if you can.

Oooh, a philosophical thread. I love those. DITTO! Practice Is in Every Moment 🙏 The Buddha taught us to bring patience, generosity, and kindness into everything that we do. Observing such virtues during your work period will strengthen good habits and character, whether you are on or off the cushion, in or out of retreat This is spring today “let’s party” this is my plagiarism 😎🤣 by Robin Williams

Good Morning
71F/22C Overcast this morning, clearing this afternoon.
Taking my girl to breakfast. Then this afternoon she is off to a baby shower and I'm going to the Radtke's for the jambalaya. Between now and then I shall putter around the house.

Good Morning Good People
Overnight rain, cloudy and cool this morning. Off to church, where I teach a kindergarten version of Sunday School, thence cutting the lawn providing it dries up. Then some office work. I had lots of time out of the office dealing with vehicles last week, so there is some catch-up to do.
Have a fine Sunday one and all.

It’s 7:00 a.m.here in Socialist Moonbeam Country.
Leaving at 7:15 for a ride on what will become the hottest day of 2018, a predicted 105.
Last night’s grad party fueled by Pliny the Elder and Cazadores tequila shots has not harmed me so far.

Had an early gig last night, 2 hours and change away. Got home, wound down, got to bed a little after 2. Woke up at 7. There’s a nap in my future.

Good morning. It was a chainsaw day yesterday. A recent thread brought hope that my 2 stroke saw would at some point not start. Alas, the damned thing started. Every. Single. Time. Chance of rain today and then sunny with highs in upper 70s in the 10 day forecast.

We spent yesterday chopping. Cooking starts soon. In addition to El Vino Confuzo, I will bring a mixed-greens salad w/ chunks of fried chicken in it, and a bottle o' Sriracha-laced T'ousand Island dressing. Barb made some pecan-enhanced dessert bars. So thrilled that Dubbenjoy are joining us!

Greetings from warm, muggy Orlando. We are moving out of our apartment and future living arrangements here are TBD. Our 5th wheel is in the shop to repair the roof. The tissue paper di-clor-something or other roof couldn't handle a few twigs. The repair guy said that the roofs with colors that match the rest of the camper are much lest durable than the old tried and true white. It won't be as aesthetically pleasing but it will be much more durable. I will take durable.
We are scheduled to leave here Friday after Faithful Wife's doctors appointment but as our home is in the shop we will be taken in by FW's older brother. Wife Number Five was supposed to move out last Friday and as he is rarely home we will probably be alone in his big house. Hopefully we will be there only for a week or so.
He has a large home on a canal that opens up to Lake Pontchartrain, an attached in-ground covered pool, personal dock, jet skis, and pontoon boat. Since it is so hot and muggy I will probably only avail myself of the pool on occasion spending the rest of my time as usual parked in front of my laptop working.
All is generally well- no complaints or major malfunctions to report.
Carry on.

Good morning from Florence Oregon. Florence Oregon. Hell of a singer. She and Tony Bennett used to really tear up the stage back in the 60s. I read she lived out her last years in a retirement village in North Dakota.

Good morning. Still recovering from the back problems that started the morning of my birthday, severely cramping my style. I was doing stretches the physio gave me to so.... solve my back problems. Feeling better today, but am cautious.
Some work on stuff for my guitar and theory exam upcoming. We booked a trip on the July long weekend to Sun Peaks, a ski resort near Kamloops, BC. (no, no skiing at this time of the year.)
Cooler and overcast today. But, it’s June in Vancouver.
